We are suppose to rain and cooler temps, 70's, on Wednesday to relieve the heat we have here. Its not as hot as New Jersey but certainly hot.
Keep cool and take care!

Wow, Jessie! I saw that on the news the other day. Ya'll come on down to Ga. It's only 97 here. I hope you have a good AC and lots of water. Stay inside during the hottest part of the day.

EEk! You can come visit us, if you bring an umbrella! Of course, with that heat, you might want to just come on over and dance in the rain!!

I feel for you. We moved from Ohio to south Texas a year ago. We get this heat from about April to Oct. It is like walking in an oven.

We do things first thing in the morning or in the evening. The hottest part of the day we are inside.

Please, Please Drink lots of water. It is the first thing I learned here. Thank God for ice and water in the refrig door!!!

That's quite hard to live without ac. NJ had a black out on sat....it was soooo hot I had to go to the basement to cool down. I couldn't even breathe. I hope you have fan and lots of water or ice cubes to cool down, channah.

We have fans and thankfully a/c though I think it needs a new filter. The part that gets us is keeping the kids cooped up inside all day and then when we do have to go outside, the children are like camels..hehe
trying to keep everyone hydrated and happy ;)

High 90's to 100 here.....I cant stand to even go outside. I am a fall and winter person anyway so this heat is awful to me. I cant seem to get cool! I am so ready for fall and the crisp smell of cool weather.

Yup this evening at 7 when I left to feed the horses it was 100 with humidity of 87 percent. It is like being in a shower only you can't breath.

Went to feed the horses today and it was 97, 111 real feel temp and 85 percent humidity. The farmers almanac said the summer here this year would be "sweltering". Guess they got that right.

I know how you feel we get the real hot weather here and just a small swamp cooler and our winters just a wood stove. Don't you wish you could bottle the cold of winter to bring out on those hot summer days and nights.
Try not to move around to much.

Weird weather here in upper Colorado too. Western Slope has had above average teps for WEEKS now. During the coolest part of the day a couple of weeks ago it was 17 degrees above normal! It's not supposed to be in the 70 at 6AM!
Over here on the Front Range it is in the upper 90's and HUMID. Monsoon storms gather and threaten in the afternoon but only leave a few sprinkles, so I am sweltering [they don't even have swamp coolers in these old houses here. They usually don't have to deal with these exstream temps. Yikes!]
Smiles!

Typical Oklahoma summer weather here. In the 100's every day for 2 weeks and no relief in sight. The humidity is so bad, that all you have to do is walk outside and feel like you're melting. Some of our trees are losing their leaves already due to heat and lack of rain. Of course, we've been baling hay and still have more to go. I think we have drank 4 gallons of water each, every day.

Thankfully, it is starting to cool down 90-95 here lately. we are lacking rain though. No drought bans yet. I am surprised at the heat and lack of rain. Normally, we swear we are going to float away. It sure isn't making things easy for the farmers. All of the corn fields look like they are going to be nothing but hay. I hope it means a mild winter! :)
