I just bought a 1947 Vintage Schwinn Three Wheeler (the conversion kit style) and I am looking for 3 fenders for it. I am will to swap something or pay cash for them.

Blessings,

Hey Amy...did you restore the paint or did you just leave it Old and Vintage looking? I have thought of going either way with it...but don't like light blue at all. Blue is one of my least favorite colors. I am either a Purple or Red Girl!

Anyway, Just curious what you did.

Blessings,
~peggy

The paint job on mine was really in pretty good shape so I left it - it is green and cream colored, and green is one of my favorite colors so I lucked out. My husband has an old Hawthorn bike that is pretty much the same colors - he used to build bikes all the time. I

Hi Peggy, How fun! Dave and I bought a 1969 Schwinn Bicycle built for two, but we don't ride it, as we live in the mountains! Bought it to take with our vintage 1969 Serro Scotty Camper, but it won't fit inside - tooo long! Won't fit in our truck either. So we need to sell it. It's in great shape.
Hugs, Ruth

Ruth...surely someone would love to scoop that little piece of Vintage History up from you. How fun is that?

Ruth, if I was on that end of the country I would have to make a deal with you for the tandem - my husband and I were both born in 1969 so it would be perfect!!

Amy Grace, How cool would that be! I wish I could twitch my nose and have it across country to you. I do need to post it on Craig's list or take it to the next Vintage Camper Rally we go to (if we can get it in the truck

Peggy, I just need to put the word out about it!

Hugs, Ruth

Oh Yeah Ruth...I told my hubby about it and he said, "tell her to put it on Craig's list". My sister thinks I should sell my Three Wheeler and make money off of it and then buy a brand new one. But I said,
"What fun is that?" So, then she said, "Ok, then here is my suggested name for it (since I am doing a name my Vintage Bike Contest and buy the way you girls need to enter...you can win a prize and everything.) Anyway, my Sister said name it "For Sale". (ain't she precious?? :+)

Peggy, I totally agree with you - what fun is a new bike???? I love the old ones, they have so much charm and are a great conversation piece to boot! I'll have to be thinking of a good name for her (trike) that is.

Ruth...please do think of a name. It is so much fun to see what everyone is coming up with.
I have it going on the Virtual Porch Forum and a few others.

I'm putting my thinking cap on too - my names for stuff tend to be girl's names:)
