Coming to my shop are altered old book journals. I am starting into the new craft of altering books. Got the idea from one of the MJF issues. I have my first order from a dear farmgirl Toni and will be adding them to my etsy stock.
Whatever you favorite old book is I can turn it into a journal keepsake for you. I'm taking orders now and will have some on my site in few weeks. I'm starting with the golden book series and then moving on the other old series like Nancy Drew since my DD is a fan.

Oh! My Goodness! My first altered book is turning out so wonderful and whimsical. I love making these. This is my next favorite passion compared to sewing and scrapbooking.
I'm going to put pictures of it on my blog once they are ready with a sneak preview.
Then, I'll be putting it on my etsy shop. You're gonna love them! Be thinking presents for that special someone. These are the best. I'd love to get one of these from a friend! Wahoo!!!!
I guess you can't tell how much I'm into this!!!!

I filled the book with handmade writing paper. There is about 30 pages. So that is 60 front and back for all your journaling and sketching. I won't share the inside until I've mailed it.
Next, I'll be making one for Toni's sister. Then after that I will be making a moleskiin journal for another farmgirl. Lots to do.

I will be adding new greeting cards to my shop this week. They are inspired from the quilts in the MJF magazines last two issues. I love the bird houses with the quilt patterns painted on the fronts.
So, I made a birdhouse card with a quilt block on the front. And, lots more with quilt blocks. Some I've added crochet embellishments.

Your kind words are much appreciated. I am working on the inside adding a pocket and tags so that they can be part of my gift-it-forward line. You write on the one tag and send the card with the extra blank tag and they can send it to someone else.
I'll have pictures of those up hopefully tomorrow on my site.
I ran out of one of my supplements for my nervous system and I feel like mush! lol It should come in the mail tomorrow and I can get my strength back and my spelling. I can hardly think straight, oiew!!!
