Ooh, Channah! I've wanted to start a blog, but I never thought of what I would write about! I think starting a blog would be so cool!

If you start one, make one with a gmail account you don't use.l
I have had my blog since blogger first came out, literally! Almost 10 years now. 3 days ago my gmail account was stolen and since gmail merged with blogger, there went my blog too! They took down my blog, who knows what the idiot is doing with my account that stole it!
But, thank god, it's letting me in the control panel, so right now I'm in the midst of copying all 10 years of posts so I can start a new blog.
However, with that being said, I say start one! I am rereading all 10 years of entries, most things were mundane I must say, but at the same time it is stuff, I absolutely had forgotten! So I'm glad as mundane as it was, I had recorded it!
10 years from now, I will bet you will be glad you did it!

My gosh, Heather, what in the world could a person possibly gain from doing such a nasty thing!!! How does a person do that? Is it like a Hacker? I'm rather computer challenged....craziness!!

Well, they stole my email account with Google/Gmail, Google bought blogger a while back, and merged, so you had to sign into your google account to sign into blogger. So when they stole my gmail, they must of done something against Gmail's policy, cause gmail shut down my email and every thing to do with that gmail account, which included my blog!
Thank God, for some reason it's letting me stay signed into my editing part of blog. And I'm getting all the post copied and pasted! I am only up to 2003! lol I started my blog in 2002! This is going to take a while. I am trying to go as fast as I can, before they don't let me access it any more either. Cause my blog is completely offline. :(
oh I think I may of gotten a virus either from Facebook, or looking at a picture on Google the other night. I'm not sure which! UHG! I think that's how they got my email account info to steal it.

Heather.. that happened to me just recently... but I got it back with phone call.. and then changed my password.... all back to normal

I've used 2 phones so far, and had them send me about 4 different codes to put in, and each time, it says the account has been shut down or something like that and try back in a few hours. That's been since Thursday!
I've sent them at least 5 emails-through the this code didn't work link, and so far I've heard absolutely nothing. For the blog, I went to the contact thing which sent me to a message board, from the looks of what I am reading on the message boards this has happened to a lot of people, and they haven't heard a word for google, and it's been months!
I even have my original verification code, that the email says to keep in case of something like this happening. BUT, it doesn't say how to use this verification code, I would assume, you would give it to some one from Google who would contact you, to prove it is me, but so far I've heard nothing from them to even give them the original verification code that it said to keep!

I finally got it to work! I tried one more time! and it worked, I have it back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! I am so so happy!!!!!!! ok, well I have already went through almost my whole blog! lol hahaha
I'm going to go ahead and finish copying every thing from my blog just so it will be backed up, in the case of this ever happening again! But, OMG, I am so relieved!

I think Channah starting a blog would be great!! I don't know that you have to be too particular about what you write about...anything you're writing about here would be interesting in a blog as well. Let us know if you get one started, I would certainly enjoy visiting it!

Go ahead .... start one... I just did... I don't have a lot of time to post tho.. so I hope that my followers will be patient with me while I get started. I've posted pics of my beautiful cats and the intro pic is one I took on a dewey morning here on our property, standing on the porch of my dear hubby's new hunting tree stand. I almost envy him getting to see this view each and every time he goes hunting, but now I get to keep the beauty forever.

Go for the blog! It's free and pretty easy. There's books on it and how-to's on the internet. Only thing that's tough is making the time to keep up with it. Also key is to have pictures, lots and lots of picture!

Channah, I have had a blog for a year now. I enjoy that more than Facebook and closed that account. The reason that I started mine was to write about and post paintings that I do.
I have met and made a lot of friends who also blog.
