Robin- Do they help with waking frequently? I am so groggy right now, I feel like I didn't sleep at all because I woke up so often. Thanks for the tip.

some of the sleepy time teas are really helpful, too. Also a warm soothing lavender bath before bed. TV & computer time before bed is supposed to be hard on the brain waves & eyes (due to the lights and the speed of the images).
If you're waking a lot during sleep, you may want to have a sleep study done for possible sleep apnea (a serious health issue where one stops breathing). My husband had one done (it's expensive, but worth it) & now is on a machine that helps him breathe.

Melody, I don't have insomnia but I do wake up sometimes and cannot get back to sleep. It's very frustrating. Or I 'll just be so tired I can't sleep. Again, very frustrating. So in times like this I will take an OTC sleeping pill. I cannot drink too much tea before bed or I will be up all night going to the bathroom. And I hate that.
I do hope you can get some help for this. How long has it been going on? And do you sleep during the day? If I ever take a nap I cannot sleep at night. It messes me up for days. Now my hubby. He's a different story. He could sleep in his recliner all day then get up and go to bed and sleep all night. I have never seen anyone sleep as much as him. Even babies don't.

Got to bed at 3:30 listening to the birds chirping... greeting the morning. I get like this occasionally and try otc benadryl which helps.
Lot's of stuff going on here and I am not one to trivialize issues-it will work out-I just need to take a quick cat nap this afternoon.
Thank you ladies for the suggestions!
Oh Kris! My husband is the exact opposite-one minute we are having a conversation sitting on the couch and the next minute the clicker is racing through channels and he is sound asleep still clutching the darn thing-LOL!
