I am in the process of looking for a winter compote recipe-preferably one that I would be able to can and that would include plums in the recipe....

I have oodles and oodles of baby plums on my one and only plum tree!

Any recipes would be greatly appreciated--

scrumptious!
Linda

note: I use the honey very sparingly, half the measure called for and it's sweet enough for me. Including a half dozen figs eliminates the need for any sweetener at all for me.

Linda...I LOVE the idea of using honey instead of sugar--I rarely use table sugar for anything including my tea in the morning! I have been using honey for ages. Thanks for the link!
