I hope to have time to play with the PhotoBucket this weekend as I have several beautiful swaps to post! I need to just DO IT...know what I mean!!??? I'm initimidated with it, but know that once I just get the time to sit down and experiment, I'll be just fine! Lin

Sulky makes a great transfer pen. If I don't use their stabilizer I use their pen.

They do. I believe that they are in the cross stitch/embroidery section where the supplies are.If not there than in the quilting section.

Lin...What a lovely surprise this afternoon! Thank you so much for the embroidered towel and the recipe cards. It was very thoughtful of you to include those along with the swap.

I ordered a "pen" from my local sewing machine shop, and I hated it! It was like a really fat bleedy marker. I couldn't hold it too long any one place with out it bleeding all over. It was such a mess. I liked the pencil much better. The pencil is a bit mushy (like eye liner pencil) but was much easier for me then the pen.

Everyone is so fast, I hope to finish up next week.
I tried the transfer pencil, but didn't have good luck
with it, so I'm using an Aunt Marthas.

Oh, I don't think you need to feel rushed, Debbie....they take time to do. I ended up using an Aunt Martha too. My transfer belonged to my 83 year old mother who got it from her mother. The Aunt Martha's turn out lovely! Hugs, Lin

Exactly! I used an Aunt Martha pattern. They are great! You've got plenty of time.

There's a learning curve with the pencil, especially on towels, they transfer better on pillow cases and like material.

Aunt Martha's are also vintage and wonderful!
