Weather Report:  Anyone a Storm Spotter???  |

Yesterday we were working here on the farm and noted a dark cloud. I grabed my camera and got 41 shots. I put 3 of them up on my blog. The cloud never seemed to be rotating to me. I came in the house to put the camera away after the clouds had moved on and the emergency radio was on that a storm spotter had spotted a tornado just a few miles east of here at the Hwy 11 and 139 junction. A few minutes later another spotter spotted a tornado just miles from the first spotting. Katie on KCTV Channel 5 in KC was also talking about a roatation in this system. Do you think I was taking pictures of the making of a tornado? Pics are on my blog.

Sarita, those are tornado maker formations for sure. I grew up in So. Missouri, and all my family (siblings and parents etc still live there). I have seem them types of clouds before and when we did, it was cellar time. Stay safe my friend

Teresa, you are right about Missouri, if you want the weather to change, just wait a few minutes in Missouri and it will change.

Yep, I think you have a baby tornado on your hands! Beautiful pics. The second one, especially, looks like a funnel!
