I make beautiful handmade paper and would love to find something to trade for. Any suggestions. I love iris and perennials for zone 5.
But also vintage jewelry pieces or parts or maybe some beads. I will consider anything.

Wow! I use a little of everything. Mainly recycled junk mail and shredded paper from the recycle center as well as colored packing paper, but I add dryer lint, crepe paper, tissue paper, construction paper etc etc etc! You never know what might be in it. I once blended whole tomatoes and did it ever make the prettiest orange paper! I have checked it with my litmus pen and it is acid free!

Wow - love the switch plate covers! We are building our log home in the panhandle of Idaho this summer - well, just going to be able to get it built to the "dried in" stage! Where is Indian Valley? Our prop. is on a mountain near St. Maries - we're about 45 min. from Coeur d'Alene. We're paying as we go - so it will take a while! We are living/working in Charleston, SC at the time so will only be there part of the time it is being built - hate to miss it, but you gotta do what you gotta do! Will get a few of your switchplate covers when we get to that stage!

To Raglady! Wow! I can relate! We bought bare ground 13 years ago (Indian Valley is in west central Id about 2 hrs north of Boise) We built a shp and lived in it for 7 years while we hand built our vertical log stockade style home. We did it all ourselves using lots of scrounged and salavged materials and going so far as building our own sawmill and cutting all our own wood. We have over 20 kinds of wood in the house and lots of unique and unusual stuff, we are out of the box thinkers. That is how I started doing the switchplates. You will get there and it will be worth every bit of the sacrifice. You can check out a few house photos and more of our goodies at www.against-the-grains.com/

Columbine yep still swapping! I love perenials! What do you have. I am in zone 5 and need stuff that is drought tolerant and likes lots of sun. I am a sucker for ground covers and lilies.
