I am making herb drying racks from barn wood, fabric, and either clothespins or curtain hooks. I have a photo of one I made on my Scrap blog. I'm selling them at a historical Heritage days event. What should I price them at?

That's beautiful Kristina! I love the barn wood! Would $10 be too little? I'm not sure how much time and materials you put into something like that.

I'd consider it at $12 - $15. Not over $20 though. Hope that helps! :)
I think you'll find that different people would pay different prices. You need to mark them at what you think they're worth.

See, I knew I was way off...hehehe....I don't often go to craft fairs and such. Looks like I totally underpriced your herb drying rack. Sorry. :) I hope I didn't offend with the amount that I said.

I would say $20 to $25. They're so rustic and people love that especially from old barn wood that still have the original paint on it. Siobhan, you're so sweet....I think you were just throwing a figure out, certainly not meant to offend! You're such a nice gal!! Hugs and smiles, Lin

How beautiful! I want one! I don't think I could convince my DH that a 3-4 hour drive is really practical though. LOL! I would say $20 is about right. I have seen them goin for that in the stores and yours is way prettier.

LOVE IT! I'd say $15 - 20, depending on the size. Maybe you could make different sizes/lengths, and price them accordingly? Like 12" - $10, 18' - $15, 24" - $20 ? JUST A THOUGHT!!! THEY LOOK GREAT!
