My sister and mom are on their way to vets to pick up our new barn cat. :) She is the sweetest little thing. She is a shelter cat.
So excited!!!

she is home!! What a sweetheart! She is 2 years old and they say she is a good mouser.
She is still a little out of it because of being spayed by the vet yesterday.

Yes, my sister got to name her and she named her Kelby. She likes old english names. She gets to take care of the cat and I get chickens next year for my 16th birthday hopefully. :)

congrats on the new kitty- we have 2 barn kitties they follow me out to the barn every morning to do chores they are great companions. and i'm a little jealous about you getting chickens-i would love some but i'm still working on the hubby!!

Welcome to the world of cats! Glad you got a shelter cat--so did I. Wait untill she brings a mouse to your door! They are SO proud when they catch one!
You'll have to deworm her periodically if she eats a lot of mice & birds, though. Keep an eye on that.
