 Now that the weather is getting hot here at the Funny Farm I thought I would treat you to a GIVEAWAY!!
Just go my to blog and under the posting "Hot Day at the Farm - Sweet Melting Treat" you will find the details - it is simple just leave a comment about what is your favorite Icecream treat. Then this Sundae (get it)Sunday June 6th I will draw one name from all the entries that I have place in a big icecream bowl. That lucky winner will have the skein of yarn sent directly to their doorstep. Just make sure you leave me a way to contact you.

Thank you so much - I so love hearing all of your sweet treats - I am thinking of maybe making some fresh Ice Cream for my youngest son who will be helping me with shearing this coming week.. He has been my fiber artsit and show partner for many years - it will be great to have him here by my side. Your favorites sound so good I feel like trying them all..

Hi Ladies - Hate to say but Wednesday afternoon the Funny Farm got hit with lightening again - seems to be a normal Spring thing. My modem got fried so I am typing this from the nearest library - 25 miles away while awaiting my computer to be fixed.
Never fear the giveaway is still going strong and will be till the end it just means I might be a day or so in getting back up and running....
I think after the library I am do for a icecream treat - I have earned it....

Never worry Carole I am so happy that you like what I do and that you are keeping up with the goings on at the Funny Farm.
The computer is back and I am typing away... You ladies sure have some great icecream treat favorites and I am going to have to try some of them... I sure would love to also have a recipe for that HONEY Icecream - never had anything like that and I just watched a program again on the loss of our bees. I am allergic to their stings so I can not have any hives here - wished I could.
Keep those enteries coming - I think I am going to have to tuck in a couple of extra's into the package because you have all been so sweet - get it SWEET! O.K. a bit lame but what do you expect from me?
My Oldes Son mad with his Wife last night homemade Strawberry Icecream, I think I am going to make Cherry Almond Icecream tonight.

Hi Karla - thanks for the kind words... I have about 1/2 and 1/2. Most of my mill spun comes from animals here or one's I know. The handspun I do is mostly the same but I also spin other folks fiber inwhich I trade for me keeping some of the fiber and I do purchase select fiber from those who raise the same way I do...
I no longer raise the hundreds of animals like I did at one time but on those I sold I kept some fiber contracts on them so I could still have their fleece for a couple of years.

I am heading over to your blog now. Kicked off Memorial Day weekend with a fresh homemade batch of vanilla bean ice cream. Topped it off with fresh strawberry's!

Grace, I couldn't post either probably because I dont have a google acct. But I must say your yarn looks yummy like a hot fudge sundae, I like mine with Pecans and carmel, mixed with the chocolate, yummy & always "sounds like more" !
