Hello all you smart and lovely ladies out there!!

I was hoping to get some information and inspiration from those of you who have gone before me into owning your own business...

I have found a line of enamelware of exceptional quality and a timeless/classic, simple beauty that I just love. It is made solely in a small factory in Poland. They currently do not have a retail market here in the US.

Having no business experience whatsoever, I was reluctant to even daydream about diving into the unknown, however, my word for the year is Fearless, so I decided it wouldn't hurt to ask. Something about this opportunity just resonates with me and I couldn't let the idea go...

In typical gutsy farmgirl fashion, I sent a letter to the export director asking for information on how to begin exporting their product into the US for wholesale or retail sales...

Well, holy cow patties, they actually responded and now I am unsure what to do. I am looking for resources to help me explore this potential business venture further.

I realize if this thing actually takes off, I will need working capital and alot of farmgirl gusto to get this thing off the ground. I keep asking myself, how would Mary Jane tackle this?

Any advice or resources you could point me to would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much, ladies. I eagerly await your replies!!!
Hugs and love,

Farmgirl sister #931

I would check online for , check local gov't and state agencies in your area for direct marketing rules, and learn about importing if they don't already have that covered.
What a great idea! I love your entreprenurial spirit! and the Enamelware sounds great! Can't wait to get some!!!
You go girl!
