I am having a terrible day...
I ordered some sensible shoes on e-bay--they came after a very long wait-they weren't cheap AND they were the wrong size-they were posted 2 sizes bigger than they really were so of course the minute I tried them on I knew right away they were waaaay too small! I broke one of my favorite cobalt blue glasses this afternoon. I woke up faced with a ton of laundry from the weekend and a sink full of dishes that were not done.
I have been restless all day. I can't seem to get my bearings at all and I am pacing--Full moon??
There....I'm done. Thank you girlfriends for letting me vent-

I thought I was headed in that direction also but staved it off, at least I think!! I got out of my normal "day off routine", and it doesn't seem like anything is quite right if you know what I mean, I piddled around outside but couldn't settle down to one thing, cleaned house, dog was in my way the whole time (gotta love him tho!!), went back outside and puttered, came in to bake a cobbler and knocked a bowl off the pantry shelf, of course it broke, have just kind of been "at odds" today, as my mom used to say!!! Not a full moon yet, what will the rest of the week bring??!!

I rarely get these days...usually by mid-afternoon it works itself out, but not today-All Day Long its been bad but kind of comical-the extreme end of a really bad day!
I give up I am getting into my JAMS and it is not even 7:00 o'clock yet...
What pulls you guys out of Blue Mondays? I want to know...

Melody, just keep on keepin' on, that's what I did and it got better, however, I am thinking about the jammies and it's only 6:50!!! Have a better one tomorrow, we both will!!

I have been down for aabout a month and it seems that when I finally started being able to resume life again it was much sweeter! I hope a better day for you with the setting of the sun and a new day!

When I start having a day like that I just escape to the outdoors for awhile and breathe. I either take my dog for a longer walk than usual or take my MJF books/mags out to my hammock or go to my favorite local botanical gardens and just walk around. When I get back, everything that was going wrong becomes kind of funny (like an I Love Lucy episode.)
Age only matters if you are wine or cheese.

DAY 2--
Just got back from Walmart and the cashier--her name was "Dot" asked me how I was! I told her I was CRABBY---She had the most contagious laugh and then instructed me to go to a different register-LOL! Made me smile--It just amazes me how people, ordinary people can be so gracious even to crabby people like me- I am embarrassed about how I have been harping on what a bad day I was having and feeling sorry for myself. Today is going to be a GOOD DAY with the help of ladies like "Dot" and all my good friends here on the forum!! Thank you girls.
