I love the color idea for these.
Is primitive mean like faded or browns? I am thinking the antique looking colors of a faded USA flag. Is that right?
Is the pattern a simple one?

yarnmamma primative is like the faded USA flag colors, homespuns, americana, Thimbleberries type fabric,......hope that this helps. The pattern just has the star in the name. Sawtooth star, Friendship star, Variable star, Feathered star...you can google star quilt block size 10 inch block. Just let us know if you want to still be included. Barbara

Yes, I want to be included.

Should the fat quarter be of the same color theme?

I think the fat quarter can be what ever you would like to send. I will add everyone to the master list this evening. You can start sewing if you would like. Oh I would like everyone to sign their blocks even if you just want to put your initials. Glad to see that we have some new quilt farmgirls joining this swap!! Barbara

LindaJo correct in the size.....I wish that the quilt world would pick one standard size finished or unfinished. it would make things so much easier for us quilters. I quess that it is like in my work meds have way to many different names. Oh well nobody asked me! LOL I will add Ann Bernadette and LindaJo. Barbara

I'll be the 12th person if you don't have one.

Okay ladies. I have had the afternoon to myself and decided to go to the fabric store...alone. :-) I settled on muted browns and reds...kind of tea stained in color but then had a freak out moment and left the bolts to come home and dig through this topic. For some reason I kept thinking that we were supposed to be doing flaggish colors. Now I see thimbleberries. I'm off to google it to get an idea. In general when I think primitive I think about things in country sampler magazine.
