I think it came out wonderful!!!!! Now I need some help? Should I add another border? I was thinking red, but maybe that would be too much? Leave as is, or add a different color border and what color? I am from the first group. |

It is beautiful. I think on more border with red in it. Or maybe remove the white border and put a printed red border on.
But it is beautiful.
Who are you going to quilt it?

Its wonderful! What about making the white border thinner and then adding a patterned wide red outer border? I haven't even started on mine yet. Heather

This is gorgeous! Was this a swap? If so, I hope another one is done soon. Absolutely lovely! Just think, you can always think about all the other farmgirl sisters you have all over. Somehow it comforts me to realize that I am not alone.

The quilt is just lovely! I guess I missed this swap somehow. As for the border...I agree with Heather B. Thinner white border athen a wide red border.

Yep, I think you girls are right. The more I look at it, there just seems to be too much white going on. Thanks for the suggestions. I will redo and post again when I redo it. |

Oh.... I love what you have done. Makes me want to finish mine. I like the white border - gives the quilt a crisp summer feel. I think that I would have the binding in red. Cann't wait until we see more from our swap!! Antoinette kudos:) Look for our next swap - primative stars, Barbara

Beautiful! It is just delightful to see it hanging outside on the cloths line. Does my heart good and makes me feel at home.

Thank you once again ladies!! I am redoing the white border, and found some neat red for the outer border, will be working on it this weekend, hopefully. And then off to my sister's to get it quilted. Who wants to do the binding???? |
