Ladies, lets meet up in June for some farmgirl fun. How about a cookout? We could have a potluck bbq at a local park. Anyone know how to fish? I'd love to learn - maybe we could find a place with a lake for some fishing lessons. Or we could find a place for a great hike or we could sit around a have a good gab session - whatever!
Please respond if you are interested in having a day with your farmgirls.

Hey Kimberly! I think it is a great idea, only I don't think I can do anything till after July 24. My daughter is getting married then and my schedule is insane right now. I really want to get a W.WA chapter started, so I am game, just not for the next 8 weeks.

WA farmgirls: Our wonderful farmgirl sister, Molly, has generously offered to host an event at her place. Would June 27 work for you? Please respond and let me know. Thanks!!

Ok ladies, how about July 10, 11 or 18 as possible dates? I think we are going to have to go with a majority vote here because I don't think we can find a date that is going to work for everyone. Please post what would work for you!

Hi ladies! I am looking for a Farmgirl chapter to join, hopefully somewhere near my area (Hood Canal region of the Olympic Peninsula), and this group looks to be the closest that is active. Do I need to join the Sisterhood as well to be a part of the group (assuming you'd have me!)? I had planned to, but was not having much luck finding other Farmgirls in my region. :( I don't get over to the mainland very often, but would love an excuse to!

Thanks for such a warm welcome! I'm so glad to hear that membership in the Farmgirl Sisterhood is not a requirement to enjoy your company. Not that I wasn't already considering joining it, but given the apparent lack of Farmgirls in my neck of the woods, it would be nice to try a group on for size first. I can't wait for an opportunity to meet some of you in person, but chatting here and via email is nice too!
A link to my blog is below my signature for anyone who'd like a glimpse of life out here in the woods. I'm afraid the only thing I raise here is chipmunks and berry vines, but I am still a Farmgirl at heart!
