WOW We got lots of rain here in Houston last night. Got a gully wamper and lost the power for a few hours. I guess I should be careful wishing for rain

Amy: I saw that on the weather channel. I have a sister in Houston. Here in SW Louisiana, we need some rain. I don't want too much. LOL.

Gully wamper? I am sorry, I'm southern. I have never heard that phrase before. I love it! I dont know what it is, but I love it!

Your post got me a grinnin! I had told my husband I hoped it would rain every couple of days for a while and we've had rain for a couple of days now. He keeps teasing me that I got my wish only it got a little confused. I got a couple of days of rain instead of rain every couple of days! LOL!

We got that rain accompanied with the thunder and lightening early, early in the morning. There was one big, LOUD lightening that hit, and all four of us in the bed woke up (me, hubby, Zoe the cat, and scaredy-cat Gracie). LOL. It was loud. LOL.

Gully wamper=lots and lots of rain. Wasn't born a Southern gal. Born in Ohio.

the rain is pounding down outside like a gully wamper for sure. we are a desert site. we are so wet i cannot believe it. hope it stops tomorrow. the kindergarden class from our grandkids christian school is going to the farm for a field trip tomorrow. wow now it is hail. last week it hailed so hard it dented my car. crazy weather. happy days sherrye
