Today Libbie (and her adorable son Will) and Patricia came to my house for lunch, visiting and exchanging. Patricia brough lots of magazines and fabric for us and Libbie and will brought oregano plants and the most wonderful asian salad, and everyone went home with fresh Mona milk and cream.
Here are a couple pictures from our get together. ONe of little Will buried in fabric, and one of the three of us in my living room.
We had such a good time! I wish you all could have come over.

Oh Jenny what great pictures. I wish I could have come over. There aren't any farmgirls close enough to me. What a fun farmgirl swap! I'd love to get some cream! I make a great lemon pie and the secret is fresh cream!
Look for your pen pal stuff to arrive any day!

Hey ladies, I wish I could have been there! So much going on in my world right now! I am glad you had such a nice time, next time the Utahfarmgirls get together I am SO there! Libbie, your boy is so sweet. Jenny, I think we might have met before, or know some of the same people. I am from Payson, do you have friends or family in Payson? Patricia, I can't wait to meet you in person, you seem so sweet and full of wisdom and loving guidance (would you like to be my mother?) Best to all the Utah girls!
Love and light to you all

Girls, we had SUCH a good time. I just wish it could have been longer, but it's a 2 1/2 hour drive home made over 3 hours today buy road construction in Orem and 2 bad accidents on the way. I'm pooped.

It was so good to see Jenny again and meet Libbie and Will. That little one is a charmer. Libbie's gonna have to bit the girls off with a big stick. Of course, it was also great meeting Jenny's kids. They're so great! I love 'em.

I got a big fat slurpy kiss from Mona right on the lips. She's like a big dog, always wanting to be cuddled and petted. And when you talk to the sheep or chickens or lambs, she has to be right there seeing what's going on.

And Jenny's farm is so farm-girly! She prepared a great lunch. Nothing like eating and gabbing with other farmgirls! We missed Kate, but there's always next time. We're already planning a High Tea with all the trimmings. Woo hoo!

Farmgirl hug,
Patricia

It was so wonderful to see Jenny again and to meet Patricia! Kate - I can't wait until next time - maybe we can time it well for everybody. It's so great to be with farmgirls who don't mind that Will is my constant companion! We had such a great time seeing all of Jenny's animals and having a great lunch. Jenny really does have a wonderful little farm, and that Mona - well, one just couldn't hope for a better cow! After having some "real" milk from a cow, Will now asks, "Is this the milk that I like from Mona or my other milk?" It's so cute! Jenny is just, again, how you'd imagine her to be - warm, funny, hospitable and kind.... And Patricia made it feel like Christmas with the fabric and magazines - also, you should see some of the things she makes - they're lovely.

Lucky me to be so close to these gals!!! I wish we were ALL close enough for a visit every now and then...

XOXO, Libbie
