I have posted another shadow embroidery post on my blog. It is a picture of my most prized dress that I ever made. Please come over and see.

Beautiful work. I know how time consuming it is, she must have looked fantastic for the wedding.

Marilyn, the dress is absolutely beautiful. It just slays me when people think something should be cheap just because it's hand made. Yet they will spend dollars on clothes made commerically and of less quality. I've had the same issues regarding quilts. When I break the price down to yardage, batting, backing,it's okay but when I add my time to hand quilt or machine it people are appalled. They think that should just be included. :)

Marilyn, I would like to find a pattern like the apron you have posted on your blog. It looks like a jumper from the front.

Marilyn, I was just looking at your blog beutiful!! I hear your allergy pains.... My husband and I are usually so stuffed up with hay fevor that we can't taste anything! I don't know if this will work for you, but last year we started taking bee pollen capsules (search for them on vitacost.com). They say to start before allergy season hits, but we didn't learn about them untill after it had started. At first it didn't seem to help but we kept taking them eventually we only took them when we started sneezing, then we were able to stop taking them entirely.... Last year was the first summer I wasn't sneezing, and blowing my nose all summer since I was 6 years old (20+ years ago!). It was like we didn't have allergies.... amazing!
