HEY FARMGIRLS: If you have not received a needle keep by the end of the swap or have not heard from your partner, send me an email and I will make sure you receive one. I don't want anyone to miss out.
Smiles, Beth

*****THIS SWAP HAS BEEN SUCH FUN!!! I HOPE ALL OF YOU ENJOYED IT AS MUCH AS I DID!!******

Do you always lose your needles or have several opened packages in
your sewing drawer or basket? I do, sooooo...How about having a FELT SEWING NEEDLE BOOK Swap!

A good site photo of one is:
www.craftstylish.com/item/10227/how-to-stitch-up-a-felt-needle-book

The outside can be decorated as you creatively wish. The inside leaves of the needle book are flannel. They are usually about 3" x 5"
when folded. I think this is a sweet, old time hand craft!!

Sign up ends June 1st.....Partners posted June 2nd, Mail out by June 20th

Please count me in. I have one needle book made from cotton fabric. Could we make one like that? Perhaps a small quilt block in the front? Or applique? Barbara

Please sign me up. I just made a pin cushion and needle holder book for myself and love them! Would love to make one for someone else. Great idea, thanks for posting this, Beth:) As asked above, can they be made of cotton fabric or do you want us to follow this pattern and use all felt? They are old fashioned and fun!!
Smiles,

Dear Girls,
Personally, it would be fine to make it out of cotton, just a little reminder, the outer cover needs to be made with batting or interfacing to make it a little more sturdy. And felt is great too, this is where your creativity comes in!! I'm sure all will be made with much love and care. Smiles, Beth

I would love to join the fun!! What a GREAT idea!!! I have a pattern that uses cotton quilted fabric, so that's a thought too. It also has interfacing, so it's not flimsy. Thank you Beth!!! Lin

Ooh...I think I might do this, but I'm going to have to wait a bit and see how things are going and how much other stuff I've got on my plate, and what my energy levels are like, etc. etc. bleh. So I am not going to sign up just yet, but I am definitely interested!

Now I'm off for ideas and a planning session! Have you figured out yet that I'm always crafting? :) Have a fun filled weekend Beth!
