Here's the scoop, Farmgirls!!
I want to say a teeny, tiny "THANK YOU" for being selected as the MJF "Farmgirl of the Year" for 2010. It is truly a humbling honor!!!
Because my mom was the ABSOLUTE and TOTAL Farmwife/Farmgirl and she taught me SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much and nurtured me in every way I want to say THANK YOU TO HER by being the incredible mom she was. She has been gone from this earth a little over 16 years but she's in my own farmgirl heart! ]
To thank her, to thank MJF and all of you for honoring me as Farmgirl of the Year I will do a little Mom's Day/Spring Giveaway.

I love to play all the time just ask my boss.
I want to list my Mammaw because she kept me since I was a baby. She was the best most wonderful woman that ever was. She could do everything. She grew her own garden, canned our food, walked pretty much every where she went (we did not have a car). I can not name my love or respect for her in 10 words it is priceless and timeless. Thank you for letting me honor her.

Where to beginning.
My mom is the world to me. I can't imagine life without her. Here are some of my favorite poems about mothers and I wanted to share them with you as I did my mom.
This is for you mom.

I want to play!
My Mom raised six children and helped my Dad run his business. I now understand how difficult it was for her. I am her oldest daughter. She taught me how to cook and how to crochet. She lost my Dad, her husband of 45 years almost six years ago. She seems to be a little lost since then and I am there for her. I hope she can come to peace with every thing she is going through and I hope that I can help her.

My mom - she's the best - always there for me whenever I need her. She has helped me so much with my 9 year olds twins who both have autism. Thanks Mom!! Love you! :-)
