I have a question about boxwoods and I am sure that one of you smart people will be able to help me. So here it is. I have a hedge of 29 one year old boxwoods. They were all planted the same. Same fertilize, same water, same exposure. 3 of them turned a bronzy reddish brown in the fall. All of them did a little but these 3 did the most. All of the rest of them have alot of new growth. But these don't. 2 of them have no new growth and 1 only has a tiny new leaf. They aren't dying, they are dark green inside. The leaves are shaped fine, there is no yellowing and the the trunk looks fine. I thought it could be winter injury but shouldn't they be sprouting new growth by now? If any of you have any advice, I would really appreciate it. |
