It's down. Just fell right over. I drove past it today on the way to town and it's just blown over. So sad. No telling how old that tree is. It's at the end of my road in the corner by the big sign. It's beautiful. I just about cried. It must have happened Monday because it was up Sunday. We had rain all night Sunday night. It must have just gotten water logged and over she went. I will miss that big tree. It was a landmark around here.
Then right up from there was an old barn. Through the years it had fallen a little more. The back of it was completely down and the front was so leaning backwards. I always wanted to stop and take pictures of it. A few weeks ago it finally gave it up and fell all the way in. It's still all there in a big pile. Again, so sad to see it go. There are so many old buildings around here just falling in.
That's terribly sad :( It's hard to see things go that have always been a part of your life...

I saved a piece of bark from th "Grandfather oak" in my neighborhood before they cut it down after most of it fell on a house. That way I'll always have a reminder of it. And it's sad to see an old barn crumple to the ground. They have such character. Cindy
