Oh yes Marlyn!! I do the same thing and not only my Mom but alot of what my Grandma taught me and said too! One time my grandson said to me your Gramma must of been awful smart, she sure told you a lot of stuff! I love your blog. It's funny I hadn't looked to see where you were from, but, I knew you were Canadian as soon as I started reading, I checked, sure enough! I was born in Canada and all my family was also. It is a beautful country with so many wondeful people! Especailly the country people!

I think that it's how we keep our ancestors alive. Because you know that your mom must have heard it from her mom, and her mom from her mom, ect!! We just keep passing it down, along with certain mannerisms. Whatever you said to her today, you can rest assured that her kids will hear it one day! :)

I've noticed this lately but on the other side. I have noticed I am displaying more and more of my mom and it makes me proud and happy that the knowledge and behaviors she tried to teach me are FINALLY kicking in! LOL
