We got a foot of snow yesterday. . we knew it was coming and were prepared. This morning the sun WAS shining. . . temperature was climbing to 31 degrees and right now. . . well in the last half hour the clouds rolled in and we are in the middle of a blizzard!! It is snowing harder now than it did all day yesterday!! The weather forecast was for a sunny start with a "few clouds rolling in this afternoon". . . ??? Well, guess I'm home bound again today. . .

I feel for you. I'm so glad it is warmer here. It is supposed to be 65 today and get up to around 80 tomorrow. I hope you have a warmer summer this year than you did last year. HUGS!!!

I with you Joanna Since Friday of last week I was hit with 3 feet snow with drift up to my chest and then on Sunday another round of 6 inches with winds that made it a white out - Some Springtime in Colorado... Just when we started to melt they say we are to have more all the rest of this week into the weekend - Someone must have pissed off Mother Nature Big Time. I keep reminding myself we need the moisture, this is Colorado but I too would just like a break. Wednesday I tried to get hay into the barns before the next storm - the winds were clocked at 62 miles an hour - BOY was that fun!
Keep smiling because we don't get a vote in these things.

For us this is typical weather. . . we do not start planting outside until June 15th and even then it's a risky venture. Last year it snowed on June 14th and wiped out all the gardens folks had started early. It then rained most of the summer and as if that was bad enough. . . we had a blight the wiped out all the tomatoes and potatoes in all gardens.
So we are praying for a better growing season this year!
