with an old bathmat made of paper from a hotel. I had it in a frame but the glass cracked and broke during our fire and I can't afford to replace the glass. Should I put something over it to keep it from getting messed up or what would suggest? I want to put it in my bathroom but without the glass I'm afraid the steam would mess it up. Any suggestions are appreciated. Blessings, Karen

You could try wrapping it in saran wrap. Do you or a neighbor have an old window laying around? Some small town hardware stores will cuut glass to fit for you for a small fee. Ours will do it for $2! You might ask around. There is also the site 'Freecycle' (if your not already signed up for it) that you could sign up for and post that you need an old window for the glass. Then all you have to do is pick up what ever the person offers. It's a site to keep things out of landfills, so there is no buying or selling, only free offers. I love it!

What about decoupaging it. ModPodge should hold up in the bathroom. Kathy

Karen, Some art supply stores like Hobby Lobby, etc. might have some leftover glass or plexiglass that they might sell to you really cheap or just give it to you. Just a thought. Hugs, Laurie
