I just updated my post to " Branching Out in Farmgirl Fashion". Along the way to upgrading my home sewn wardrobe, I came across a neat line of patterns, with vintage styles from pre- 1920's up to the 1950's. I saw them in a local shop, and looked them up online at www.decadesofstyle.com. They are NOT cheap, but I have my eye on two of them. I'm for sure going to make the " 1940's Rodeo Queen " cowgirl shirt. I'd also like to make the 1930's " Sweetheart Overalls." They are more for play than work, and I think they are totally adorable, those high waisted, staight legged, almost halter topped overalls ladies wore to the beach or on outings. There's a cute kimono inspired jacket but gosh, the patterns are $15-$20 each! I bet there are some farmgirls out there who'd like these patterns! Happy Sewing, Mary LD

I really like the 1930's capelet and the 1940's housedress. I love the use of ric-rac on wearables.

I like the capelet, too! I'll have to look at the housedress- they have so many nice dresses, it's hard to keep track! ~ Mary LD
