Please be praying for our nation's teachers! There are many days that we probably would love to throw in the towel because of everything(administration, parents, paperwork, the list goes on) but the kids! I will venture to say that when we feel like that it's when we pick ourselves up by the bootstraps and remember it's about the kids! However, it's tough stuff and it's not going to get easier! Thanks!

Amen to that! Our teachers are probably some of the most underpaid group out there. You all work so hard for the children of this nation with little compensation in comparison. And to top it all off, you're taking part in "parenting" other's kids, which is a huge job in itself!
Father, I pray that You will pour out a special grace and blessing on our nations teachers today. That You will give them strength to keep on running the race when they feel they are weary. I also pray that You will protect them, as they do their job, from children who are hurt and looking for someone else to hurt. I pray that they can be the love that some kids don't get at home, that they will always be there to give an encouraging word or an at-a-boy to the kids who feel like they have no purpose or won't amount to much. I pray for teachers' aids and funding to come so that the teachers will not be overworked, doing the jobs of 3 or more people at once. Thank you, God, for all of these men and women who give daily so that our schools can be safe and so that our children can get the best education possible. In Jesus' name, AMEN!

I would like to pray especially for the teachers at my school. We're having a merger next year, and quite a few people will be out of a job.
