Hi everyone ,I've been away for several weeks having a "farmgirl identity crisis"! I read all the posts and visit all the beatiful blogspots and feel SO inadequate!!! I suppose I felt that if I couldn't do it as well as everyone else I wouldn't do it at all! I have come to the realization that it is progress not perfect. I know I can't be the only one who sighs sometimes! I am trying to get back in the groove again.

It's all good!

Hi! Welcome back! I have felt the same way a lot of times. I even felt that way so badly one time and decided to go for a drive. I left Morgantown Indiana and wound up in your neck of the woods! I spent 4 days in Diamond Head Mississippi! My family joined me on day 2. I guess we all lose ourselves sometimes. At least you haven't gone as far as I did.

Hugs Michelle! Remember what MaryJane says- "Farmgirl is a condition of the heart"!
There are plenty of days I feel like I don't measure up and I get up try anyway and if it just doesn't seem to work out- well Grace's advice is the best- chocolate and lots of it!

I am going to buy a new book, go thrift shopping (not far from home) and pick up a box of Dove chocolate! I managed to get up before 9am and I have hung out 1 load of laundry. Oh and I made my bed too! Thanks everyone.

It's all good!

Michelle, Half the stuff I do comes out *ss backward! LOL So please dont feel as though your alone. I keep doing it because I like doing it, not because I’m good at it. Went out this morning to prepare my little garden for planting, I can guarantee that I labored under the delusion of a bountiful awe inspiring crop. I'll kill most of the crap like I do every other year. But, that ONE tomato that miraculously does survive my gardening skills is all worth it. Just wanted to let you know that your no different then most of us and I am glad you here as part of the group! :)

Oh happy day!

Sometimes I feel as if I don't belong here either. I am not crafty and I don't like digging in the dirt but I do buy produce at our local produce auction and can in the summertime. I love being a part of this farmgirl group though because I do have the freedom to just be myself. Welcome back!!!!

I like the thought that it's worth the one tomato that we may produce! I tried to hatch chickens and only got 3 out of 50 eggs to hatch. All my baby rabbits died but I did learn some things about what could have happened since. I have decieded to look at things as learning experience instead of a failure!

It's all good!

I was so inspired today I got OPPS paint to paint the kitchen in the morning. I will be posting pictures when I'm done. I went thrifting today and got an antique iron. I'm going to stick with it. Hey, I am still using recycle bags, hanging wash, and using vinegar to wash my floors!!!
Thanks so much!!! I have felt SO lonly lately that it was almost overwhelming.

It's all good!
