Does anyone know where I can find an old-fashioned bassinet skirt pattern (the kind with a skirt that goes to the floor)? A friend wants to make a new cover for her neice and can't locate an old-style pattern. Books, websites, etc. are what I was thinking. She's already tried Ebay and pattern company archives but nothing is available. Thanks! Dianne

Hi Dianne,
I'll take a look over the next couple of days to see if I have a pattern. I don't believe I do, but I might. I have a couple of books about making baby things. I also have a book on slipcovers.

See if they have a pattern by Sunshine Designs ( out of print) at what must be www.elizabethleedesigns.com. Might be " design" singular after Elizabth Lee's name.

I checked- look at www.elizabethlee.com under children's patterns, then under Sunrise Designs. The have a " Victorian nursery" ( or similar name) pattern for $5.00. A floor lenght bassinet skirt is included.
I used Sunrise Designs when my son was a baby. The NIghty Night Pattern had baby gowns and sleepers made with flannel. I was not and I'm still not very experienced with knits except ribbing. The gowns had ribbing at the neck and cuff, so- no buttons or zippers, very easy.
Hope this helps!
