Hi all!
I'm new here. I got Mary Jane's book from the library and just loved it. I'm a stay at home mama. I have an 18 month old daughter. I love all kinds of needlework, especially knitting and sewing clothes for my daughter. We're planting a vegetable garden for the first time this year, so I'm hoping to learn from all you experienced gardeners. |

Hi Kate,
I'm a buckeye too! I just joined today. Can't wait to get to know everyone! I'm a part time social worker in a nursing home (2 days a week) and full time mom to 3 boys - 2 year old twins and a 9 month old. I love getting back to basics. My latest things is baking bread. I want to simplify my life. I'm also in the progress of gathering wood scraps to build a chicken coop!

Welcome to you too Lura!! BOy, you are for sure busy with three small boys. I have alot of boys myself..but not so little anymore. Little boys (and girls too of course) are so fun! I am glad you found us. Baking bread is one of my favorite things too. Especially sour dough lately!! I bet you will love it here!

Welcome Kate!
I'm a stay-at-home mommy too (two preschool boys and a baby on the way), and I love to garden (when I can and am not restrained by my pregnant state)!

Kate and Lura - welcome to the 'connection! How fun that you're both from Ohio. I think you'll both really love it here - the ladies are great and have SO much wisdom and caring. Glad to have you!
