I had a dream that I went out into the backyard and that there was a clothes line out there that I had "never noticed". It was one of those ones that looks like an umbrella that has been blown inside out by the wind.
We have lived in this house for a year now and I know there isn't a clothes line out back but it was such a realistic dream. Then I also dreamed that Doug's grandma gave me some clothes pins that his grandpa had carved for her.
It makes me a little sad that when I go out there later today I won't have me clothes line!
Leave it to farmgirls to dreamwish for clothes lines!
The only problem is that we are renting so I am going to wait to install a clothes line until we have bought our own house. That's about 3 years down the road. However- if someone gives away a free clothesline in this area and I can get it- I might install a free one :D
Alee this is so funny! I was just talking with mom the other day that I really want a clothsline! I love the smell of things hanging to dry in the fresh air. We too are renting and I've thought about putting up the kind that you connect to the side of the house and just pull it out to connect to a pole when you need it. Who knows that people who live here after me, may really enjoy it. Go for it girlfriend and get you some fun clothspins!!

LOL! Gee Alee, why on earth would a farmgirl dream of a clothesline when spring is beginning to spread out before us? Nothing better than hanging sheets out in the fragrant spring air! That's what I like about you, practical (doing laundry) yet romantic (hanging the laundry out)!
Thanks Ladies! I am so glad I have so many farmgirl friends that "get" the dreams both literal and figuritive! Or would that be night dreams and day dreams?
