YEP your out there! I went up that way to
get a goat a year ago. Was a nice drive
out of dallas wish I was out that way at
times. Was so quiet.
I am in Red Oak, close to waxahachie
we are 20 miles south of Downtown Dallas.

I am in Red Oak, close to waxahachie
I am 20 miles south of downtown Dallas
It is nice to see so many TEXAS farmgirls!
I need to meet up with some from other
chapters in the area. I have met one sister
close to me already.

| MaryLD, we have 6 haflingers at my work place. We have a therapeutic riding program for people w/disabilities and the hafs work great, easy to get on, can carry a load:), and the sidewalker volunteers love it because they are short so it doesn't hurt their arms to hold on to the riders leg! We have 4 mares, and 2 geldings. |

I am looking for Farmgirl members in East Texas - I am purchasing a house in Lone Oak, TX - closing in mid August. I am interested in quilting, knitting, crocheting, and spinning. I have 4 alpacas (2 pregnant) who currently reside at my DS and DIL's place. I also enjoy traveling, reading, playing bridge and pinochle, and all kinds of other crafts and stuff. Let e know if you live close.

| HELP! I'd like to join the Texas Farmgirl chapter, but I am unable to post. I just joined MJFG Sisterhood today, so does it take a few days to be able to post? Can someone help me? Every time I try to join it says they are not accepting new members. Can someone please help me? |

Linda, are you meaning the Heart of Texas Henhouse? If so, send an e-mail to Brian and he will activate your membership to that henhouse. Then you will be able to post there.

| Welcome all! Looks like the Texas farmgirls may be growing. Maybe the campout posted in the Outpost section will be large and great, like Texas is. Look forward to meeting other from Texas. Have talked to Mrs Rooster several times and enjoyed it. I am from Montgomery, and have seen a red suv serveral times that has a farmgirl sticker on it, neither time could I catch it. I live in Richardson, and am closing on my "farmhouse" in Lone Oak, TX on August 18 in east Texas. I cannot come to this get together, but am very interested in getting together with and meeting other nearby Farmgirls. Please post lots of pictures and information.
