Just wanted to ask all you girls if you could send some prayer's my way. I will be having the surgery on my back April 12, at 1:30. They told me it would take about 2 hours if all goes well. I do believe this is what I need to do, but, I'm getting a little scared. But I guess that is expected. Went shopping today and got me some new jammies. Going to get them washed up and start packing my bag. Don't like to wait until the last minute. They told us today, when I went up to do blood work and a few other things to get registered, that Tom could stay the night and they would provide him a bed. And 3 meals a day, FREE! Can you imagine that. Really surprised me. It can get pretty expensive when you eating out alot and that was a concern I had. But the Lord answered that one for us. Ladies, I'm do hope that I start feeling so much better that I will not only be making snow angels in the snow next winter, I promised you grandkids I'd to the zip line when I'm good to go! Thank you all for the concerns you have showed me and I love ya all.

You've got it. Isn't it awesome how the Lord provides and takes care of us, how neat that Tom will be able to stay and get meals too! I have a friend that had Back surgery 2 years ago and she says it was the best decision she made, she makes snow angels now :)
I will be praying for any nervousness or anxiety to be replaced with peace in your heart too!

Brenda my dear, wonderful friend you know you have my prayers!! I love you so much and will be praying for you!! That is really neat that they will take care of Tom! I just know the Lord will be with both of you Brenda!

Thank you girls, I know that preparing for that day and the day of, I will be feeling all your prayers. I can just feel the love and protection around me and know this is the right thing to do. Also, Tom says thank you also. He really appreciates the bonding that we all have. He thinks it wonderful, as I do also.

Dear Brenda, please know I will be thinking of you, and keeping you in my prayers. How wonderful that Tom will be able to be by your side, what a comfort. The Lord is guiding you through all of this, so try not to worry yourself too much. Just keep picturing yourself making those snow angels~

Prayers are on the way for you to have peace with the decision and not fear.
Back surgery has been improved tremendously. DH had back surgery over 30 years ago and has a big scar, now its just a little nick, a lot less invasive and a lot quicker recovery time. He would have been in constant pain without it and unable to do much of anything so we have been thankful over the years.
Next thing to remember is to follow Dr's orders after surgery for taking it easy on lifting, etc and doing any therapy he/she tells you to do. Take care of yourself!

Thank you all for all your support and prayers. Dr told me I would probably get to come straight home and not go to rehab after surgery if I do as I'm told to do at home. I told him "YOU BET I WILL". Will be glad when it's over and I can start doing things again and not held back from the pain.

Sending prayers for you. I to would be scared but I will pray you are braver than me and that all goes well. How wonderful that your husband can stay and eat for free. That is wonderful and probley takes a lot of stress away from you.

Thank you girls for all the prayers. I'm going to GD's soccer game this morning and Dinner tomorrow at friends house. I think they are trying to keep me busy and keep my mind off of it. It seems like the time is flying by. That hour drive up there to the hospital is going to be a long one. I'm going to keep all of you in my thoughts getting ready for this. I love ya all!
