Girls! We can do this! I'm excited. Depending on what we decide and how far everyone lives, each of us could host a little gathering every month or every other month. My house isn't much but I love to cook for people. We could KNIT TOGETHER!!! Can't wait to meet you all. I'm feeling very blessed to have found the farmgirl connection. It is giving me good direction and new friends. What more could a girl ask for?

I'd say early June would work best for me! We just had the flood here, and my parents are flying in Memorial Day weekend.
Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world. www.cattleandcupcakes.blogspot.com |

Any word yet? I want to get this rolling! I would love to host a gathering and show the real farmgirls how us city chicks make do. My coop is almost done and the garden is really going well. Hubby doesn't know this, but he is about to start on a new patio area! :-)

Now since I am not from Kentucky, I do not know how far that sets us all apart, if any of you can determine which location is most central for all of us, let me know. I don't mind travelling. I am thinking an informal luncheon get together on a nice saturday where we each bring a little dish of something..sandwiches or cookies or a salad..not to much as we are only five for now..haha..I have posted my email which is also my msn chat address...so if you want to add me. Please post on here and send me an email with any helpful information regarding your availability in May and preferred location. I will regularly check both.

I'm in Louisville! There isn't much to see in the city as far as farm stuff goes! We do have some nifty shops and there are always my chickens to keep us entertained! Set a date...I'm there or I'll host. Doesn't bother me!

I'm looking right now at Saturday, June 11th. How about a Picinic get together or something to that effect? A cold food potluck? Sandwiches, fruit, macaroni salad, etc.? Maybe someone can come up with a cool idea/project for us to do? I have no problem hosting it. We could all meet in Richmond and everyone can follow me to the farm :)
