Ok, I have ideas for the top of the cupcake but cannot figure out what to do with the bottom. Or what to use for the bottom. Any ideas? I need help.

Kristin, I have seen batting, stuffing, rice, crushed nut shells, steelwool..... all kinds of things. I am using rice on the bottom to help it stand. Barbara

Kris, I saw an idea using a plastic snack cup (the kind you buy individual fruit or applesauce in). Fill the bottom with rice, then cover with fabric or felt. Fill the "cupcake" top with batting and hot glue to the inside of the cup. Finish the edge with trim (rick rack or seam binding or buttons). It was cute. Dianne

Thanks, Barbara and Dianne. That's a good idea with the little cup. I have ideas for the top, I just couldn't figure out the bottom for it to stand up on its own. I will get started on it soon.
