What a wonderful blog. Your house is beautiful. I noticed the star on the front. I have seen many of these on homes. Is there some significance to this? Just wondering.

Tracy, for me, the only significance is just my love of patriotic decor. I love the "All American" look. I also have an even bigger star on the back deck! I think one of these stars will end up on the old garage that will become my antique shop at the new place and I am still trying to find a place for the other one!

Brenda,what a beautiful home!! I could certainly be quite happy with it. We have the same tastes in decorating. I can hardly wait to see what you do with your farm house. I am sure it will be beautiful.
