Hello everyone!
I am hosting a Signature/Friendship Quilt Block Exchange. If you are interested please join us. The quilt block example can be seen on this website: www.quilterscache.com/S/SignatureBlock.html
Rules:
1. Block size to be sent in will be 6 1/2".
2. The center piece of the block will be white or white on white only. The rest of the block can be what ever you like.
3. Print your name, city, and state and your username on the white portion of the block. It must be in black permanent marker or embroidered in black.
4. All blocks will be sent to me along with a self-addressed stamped envelope for your receiving blocks.
5. No embellishments.
6. You make 1 block for each person plus 1 block for yourself.
I will be taking sign-ups through April 15. Send-in date would be by April 30. I will email everyone with my name and address.

P.S. Just a reminder...the directions make a 6 1/2 inch block. It states that it make a 6 inch block but that is when it is set into a quilt.

I am glad to have you both of you join me. The last block exchange was really fun. I can't wait to see what blocks I receive this time around.

Good morning Julie,
I was in the last block exchange and wondering if others from the exchange will be joining this second time. If so, would it be best if we made a different block for this exchange? What I will have left from the last one I can use for the backs of quilts or some other project so it's not a problem.

Linda, You can join and use the blocks from last time. That is what I and the others are doing. I for one am just taking the blocks from the ladies that I don't have already.

| I'm sorry that I can't take part in this swap. I go into the hospital April 12 for hip replacement surgery and would not be able to complete and mail out the blocks by the 30th. Good luck with the swap! |

Linda I hope your surgery goes well and you can participate in future exchanges.
If you want Linda... you can just send me your blocks that I had to send back to you. I kept the list from the last exchange so I know whose blocks you have received. I would just send you blocks from the new ladies. That way you can still participate. Just let me know....

The last signature block was my first quilt block. Everyone else's looked BETTER than mine, lol!
I'm on the same schedule as Julie- I 'll swap with everyone on the new swap, and anyone from the old swap who would like another block from me. I DID get a pretty substantial chnge in my eyeglass prescription since then, and I'm a lot more relaxed about sewing. My handwriting has also improved a TON, lol!
