While digging around I found an unopened set of paper coasters and napkins (4 1/2" sq.) that have Pennsylvania Dutch designs on them.
The package says 24 sets. They are all in primary colors (red, blue, yellow on white). The coasters have a bird in the center on a flowering vine. The napkins have a similar image in the middle with the word "Willkommen". Around the top of the circle image it says: "From the Wonderful Land of the Pennsylvania Dutch" and there is an image of an Amish man in one lower corner and an Amish woman in the other.
I'd take a picture but it is shrinkwrapped and the flash reflects. There's a slight tear in the cellophane, but otherwise it's never been opened that I can see or anything removed. I don't know how old it is, but we haven't travelled through that area in at least 20 years or more.
If you want it, I'll mail it out to you. Email me an address. Maybe a Pennsylvania Farmgirl Chapter can use them. It's the kind of thing my grandmother would have out for playing canasta or gin rummy with the girls! |
