I dont know about pigs, I have not raised any. We have laying hens, and they are on as natural a diet as possible. We only feed them grains, and let them eat lots of bugs and grass. As far as raising chickens, most people around here that are raising organicaly, are using large chicken tractors that are moved daily. This keeps the chickens eating natural foods, and out in the sunshine. They do not feed anything with antibiotics or hormones. Free range is what they are called. And I can testify, that these are the best chickens I have ever eaten. So, you might look at some chicken tractors, that can be moved by pulling them with a tractor, or small enough to move by hand. On skids, this is easily done. Best to your new adventure, Sheri
