I'm on my second book called Round Robin and I am finding them absolutely delightful.
My mom read them and gave them all to me. Now I'm even more *inspired* to get back to my quilting.
The first novel is The Quilters Apprentice. There's a whole series

I have read every one of those books and have ordered the new one that is soon to come out. Would'nt it be awesome to have a place like that to go too! Reading those books also makes you look at vintage quilts in a new light also, makes you wish they could talk and tell you their history :)

I really am enjoying the books. I'll be starting the third one soon, although I did join two online Book Challenges so I might have to hold off on the rest of them until June...hahaha

Nancy- I would LOVE to have a place like that as well. I was actually thinking of having one here at our small farm. I could offer a ONE week long (or 4 days) Quilt camp, say in early Autumn. I think it would be fantastic! Of course not right now...but in the not so distant future. A dream to look forward to :)

I've learned that if one is passionate and determined, one can accomplish almost anything!

Well I have started collecting all the books. I purchased the Elm Creek Quilts, by Jennifer Chiaverini. It has all the blocks from the books from her collections. I really enjoy her books.

Marcia that would be neat if you could! Ya'll will LOVE all of her books in the elm quilt series. You really get a hankering to quilt when you read them, I even LOVE her book covers! I display them here and there! I may try to get a set for my sewing booth! Hmmmm hadn't thought of that! Amazon usually sells them cheap.

I have read all of them. They are really good books. I would love to have a place like that for people to come and relax. They are very inspiring books. If I had a place like that though I would have to add horses so folks could trail ride if they wanted to. LOL

I've read them all but I don't think she's had one out in awhile. Oh, I see someone said she had a new one come out at Xmas.

The new book is coming out April 6th. It is called ~ The Aloha Quilt ~ I have it ordered :) Ya'll should check on amazon, that is where I got mine. You can buy the first 3 books in one for 7.30 plus 3.99 shipping and all the rest of her single books are even cheaper, I just bought one for the antique booth for 14 cents plus the 3.99 shipping! I'm like ya'll, I love the covers also! I like to use them for display at home and in the booth :)

I have read all of her books and loved them. Her latest comes out in a few days on the 6th.
She puts out 2 a year. She does a great job! I had the pleasure of hearing her speak on author night at our local library.
We had a beautiful day hear in northern Indiana at 80 degrees...fantastic!!!!
Have a Blessed Easter
