I rec'd the most beautiful little embroidered and tea stained ornament today from Teresa Julian Farmgirl from Medford NY!" BEE Merry" It's so cute and it smells yummy too!!!
Thank you so much! I felt so loved! It was all wrapped in pretty red fabric with cinnamon sticks on top!!!
I can't wait to post a pic...I have to find my little chip that my husband took to the store for me, and now I can't find, but soon as I do...I'll post the two lovely ornaments rec'd to date!
I love them!
Thank you! Thank you!

I just thought I'd tell you all about our tradition. When my daughter was growing up I made her an ornament every year that pertained to her year and also bought a store one pertaining to her year. That way she now has enough for her own tree and they are all meaningful. Just thought I'd pass on the idea to you ornament swappers out there. Ginny

Hi Ginny, I have done the same thing....I still do, although my 5 children are either in their careers or finishing up college, They still get their ornaments out on Thanksgiving afternoon and put the ones that are most special to them on the tree. I wouldn't take anything for that tradition...If you ever want to swap a handmade ornament, just let me know...I love ornaments!!! Smiles, BEth

Hi Ginny! Hi Beth! I just wanted to add that my grandmother had the very same tradition with all of us grandkids and the great-grandkids until we all turned eighteen. I cherish my ornaments and they each have a story behind them and a special place in my heart! In the next few years I hope to start building my own home and they will always have the treasured places of honor on my tree. Keep making those wonderful memories ladies, hugs!

Hi Sis-heartfelt thanks for the precious stocking ornament you sent. What a cute idea, I just love it. I have it hanging in the kitchen on my "rake" for all to enjoy! Love the antique bell wreath. So fun to be in the swap with you!!

Dear Dianaw1123-
Ahhhh- Yesterday I went to the mailbox and sitting in there was a little Christmas Angel! Literally! Thank you Diana for my adorable angel ornament and beautiful kitchen towel too! Very sweet of you to include the towel as a bonus surprise! Thank you!
We are actually partners in the Snowman ornament swap too! You should get your package next week.. I am "running late" on finishing him up, so advance apologies on that! Have a wonderful weekend.
Smiles,
Laurie

Oleta I received your wonderful gingerbread man! How cute! Thank you! I already decided he is much to handsome for the tree, instead I believe I am going to hang him on the wall shelf in the kitchen. He will be perfect! I loved receiving a bit of christmas cheer in this 110 degree weather, thinking of gingerbread had me thinking of snow and hot chocolate......which was wonderfully distracting! :) Have a great week and thank you so much! Hugs!
