Cheryl, you are a cutie! Kitty's pretty cute too. How many Kitties do you have and what are their names? I have two Cats that i generally (& affectionately) refer to as my "dumb, bad kitties" (they even have their own newsletter and mailing list - long story!) named Parsley and Sage.
Also, this Inquiring Farmgirl wants to know where's Magalia? Northern or Southern Cal? God Bless you, karen

Hi Karen, I have three cats. The one you see is Emmett then there is Junior and Baby Kitty. They all were orphans. Magalia is in Northern Calif. It's aprox 2 hours north of Sacramento. What part of Calif is Vista? You will have to email me pictures of your kitties!

I could'nt figure out how to email pics from here so you will all have to see. Here's my dumb bad Kitty pics for Cheryl

this is "Parsley" hangin' around my office

this is "Sage" on our tractor

I didn't tell you about my magnificent Collie dog but here he is - "Windsor". I must get some sheep because he tries to herd the kitties with no luck!

...and last but not least (Well, last because "Parsley" ate my Dove, "Lovey"- oops) here is my bunny, "Dust", who adopted me. Sunny has encouraged me to write a childrens story about her and I intend too!
Bless you, karen

I love seeing everyone's faces so I guess I should add my photo. Like most of you I'm usually the one taking the photos. But I did find one of me from this spring with my daughter.

Rebecca,
I had to go try that night and I made a wall hanging. I will post a pic in a bit. My dd made one this morning but said she didn't have enough patience to go beyond putting the 9 squares together and sewing a back on it, calling it a quilt for a doll she is sooo silly but at least she finished the project!!

Tracey~I hopped on over to your crafty blog. To see your photo-and then got lost in it all for a little while! So much to say, but then noticed I couldn't comment. So-I jumped back here.

Since there is SO much to say-this will be in bullets.

1) You fooled me. When you said "Old lady" I was expecting an...um...old lady. You look lovely!

2)I would LOVE the recipe for your boo boo salve...if you are willing to share it. It seems like I could use a bit of that. Or more realistically, a truckload worth.

3) I have always WANTED a sling! A friend told me she would make one for me for my first baby and it didn't happen. With my second baby, I still wanted one REALLY bad but knew I probably couldn't depend on her to make it so I asked her if I could have the pattern (so I could make it myself). Baby #2 birth day came and went and I never heard from her. Now. I am not expecting yet...but when I DO get pregnant with my third-if I can't figure out how to make it myself, I know exactly where to go to buy one! ;-)

4)That soap looks wonderful! ;-)

Look forward to seeing your square. Was it as fun for you as it was for me? I have a few more to do-for my kiddos quilts.

Thanks for those wonderful, kind words!! I had never turned on comments (just forgot) so thank you, I turned that function on now!
I posted the block I made ( and fun? Oh, yes!! crazy laughter type fun! I wanted to stay up all night and work on more) on my blog and will prolly go post it in the stitchin/craftin room forum in a bit. I am on a bloggy/posty roll.
Your blog is just an inspiration!! Thanks again for sharing!

This is great! I'm a visual person so it helps matching personalities with faces! Funny though, this is only my second day "here" and I've already found four things in common with the majority of you. 1. Mom's are the least photographed. We're always behind the scenes. 2. Love of long dresses or skirts (though it's not always practical being a massage therapist.) 3. Big Smiles! Heck, my single mom paid enough for mine that if I didn't she'd hollar at me (I'm 41!) 4. This must prove that we are born this way, but I haven't seen one discription of anyone taller than 5'4 so far! (haven't read all yet though.) I'm only 5'nuthin! When I can find a decent one i'll get my 13 year old to teach me how to post it!

I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by. ~anon

I'm enjoying looking at everyone's photos, it's great placing a face with a name. Chicken necker I'm a bit over 5'4, I'm 5' 7 1/2". I'm going to try and post a pic of me here and one of my hubby and our golden retriever, Lizzie. That is, if I figure out how.
