I belong to a book club that meets once a month and we need some new book suggestions. The membership ranges from those who like to read Mary Higgins Clark to those who like modern fiction and some who like the challenge of historical fiction and non-fiction. We also have some women in our club who speak two languages and for whom English is not their first language, so they had a hard time with Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Some of the titles we've read recently are The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, People of the Book, The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, The Book Thief, P & P, Running with Scissors, The Glass Castle. I'm open to any suggestions! Thanks, Dianne

I belong to a book club too. We just started after the first of the year. We read Water for Elephants....very good.....and The Help....excellent. When we first started everybody brought books and we compiled a list of books we wanted to read. Next will be Three Cups of Tea and Stones into Schools. Maybe the Time Traveler's Wife.

I've been on a reading tear lately but for the life of me I can't remember one single title, I'm a little sleep deprived tonight. I will try to remember what I've been reading:)

There's a book called Three Cups of Tea, The Secret Life of Bees, A Reliable Wife, House Rules, and The Forgotten Garden. Hope this helps!

I loved, loved, loved, "These Is My Words". If you haven't read it, please do. Just wonderful. I also just read "The Lovely Bones", another good book.

"The Help", "Shanghai Girls" and "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle" are good.
