It is a cute little book with a sticky note pad inside . . . tied up with ribbon.

Hey there Mail Art-ists!!!
I thought I'd put these suggestions out there for getting your masterpieces through the mail.
I make papercraft cards and mail them . . some of them are very embellished and "lumpy". Suggestions I give my customers include:
- use several thicknesses of paper to "cushion" the embellishments, or a piece of cardstock
- put the "lumpy" side to the back of the envelope and away from the area where the postmark will go as much as possible.
For our Mail Art, I would suggest that, if you want to put it in an artsy envelope it might be good to put that inside a bubble envelope to mail it. That is, if you don't mind that all the postal workers don't get to enjoy your artwork.
If you want to decorate your envelope so that postal workers can enjoy . . . and anyone else who sees it, I suggest that it be FLAT; no edges to catch in the machines; take to post office and personally request they hand cancel, and mark it yourself as to whether it is FRAGILE . . . or whatever.
I know that I want my creations to get to the receipt in excellent condition and not all torn to smithereens . . .
Anyway, just thought I'd pass that on.
And, don't forget to post pics of the Mail Art you receive so we can kinda enjoy it with you!!!!

Just so's ya' know . . . you won't RECEIVE art from Mary Beth. You should receive from a different person . . . maybe from Mary Beth some other round in the future.
You'll get a DIFFERENT person next month to SEND TO and to RECEIVE from . .

You haven't missed anything yet . . . you are signed up for MAY round and I won't send that info to you until the end of APRIL. What you see going on now is for those who were signed up for the APRIL round.

My art mail arrived from Dianne/textilelover. Thank you Dianne. Very creative and the colors are beautiful. I'm going to put mine on the wall of my craft room and can see them for the whole year. It's much to pretty to put away!
