I received my mail art from Peggy Smith last week and it is absolutely gorgeous. Very much in the Thanksgiving season. Best of all, she included a picture of herself! Thank you very much, Peggy.

I am continually amazed by the creativity on this forum. What beautiful works of art. Today I received a simply gorgeous mail art piece from Staci in PA. As soon as I photograph the mail art and learn to rotate my pictures :) I will post them here. Dianne in the Hudson Valley

I have received my wonderful November Mail Art card from Lady Darcy today and will try to get a photo on here a bit later. Thank you so much for the surprise, (see my post on Thanksgving card swap to see why a surprise), and I hope you and your family also have a very blessed Thanksgiving.

NOVEMBER MAIL ART should have been mailed by now. If there is anyone running late and not mailed out, please let me know right away.
AND, if you have NOT received your November Mail Art, please give it until your mail is delivered on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26th. If you've still not received anything, let me know right away then.
AND, I will be sending emails out for DECEMBER the weekend of the 26-28th. Remember: you MUST reply to that email that you got it.
SUGGESTION: Make your DECEMBER MAIL ART now . . . and then you'll be ready to mail when you get your name. Then it won't get too much into the way of your Christmas activities.
THANKS EVERYONE!!!! You are doing some A-A-A-MAZ-I-N-G-G-G MAIL ART!! CJ

Anne Erickson, could you please let me know if you got my November mailart? I sent it a couple of weeks ago and would love to know if you received it.

Hey Kris!! My Chickamauga, Ga. neighbor!!! I received my November mailart and I have to say it is one of the cutest, coolest, creative ideas ever!!!! I am just tickled with my recipe book. The fall theme, the wonderful recipes, (which I am anxious to try) the time that you put into it.............It is just pretty!! I think I am going to try the sausage lentil soup first. Yummy. Thanks again for your very creative art work. I LOVE ALL OF MY MAILART!!!!! Each one is a product of a MJFG showing her own personal creativity. I love sending mailart. Each one I receive inspires me to want to do more!!!! I haven't been on much lately, Mama is full time for me now. Was before but now can't hardly be away from her. I am trying to catch her when she stumbles or falls, but she is doing as well as she can. She tries and is very independant but just doesn't realize that she can't do as she used to. That is due partly to her mild memory loss. But 24/7 isn't so bad. Have time to do a few crafts, mailart, clean house, ugh, and realize that what I am doing right now is much more important than anything else that I might think I should be doing!! :-)!! One of my brothers comes by every afternoon during the week and sits with her before he goes home from work. Gives me time to run to store and such. Jim lives in Chickamauga too!! Such a beautiful little town. Thank you so much for your note and your caring words, means alot. Thanks Kris, love and many blessings for a wonderful Thanksgiving for you and your family! Gail #61 |

Here is the photo of the November Mail Art I received from Lady Darcy in MT. The pictures probably won't do it justice. The inside is filled with a musical staff, Autumn leaves, a "Thanksgiving wish" poem, cute cameos of a pilgrim man and woman, and a boat with three flags sailing! Very cute. I also love the front which bears many names of Jesus (Prince of Peace, Messiah, and more). Thank you Lady Darcy!

I am so glad you liked the card - and the envelope. This was my first attempt at making an envelope and it was a bit skewed I think! But, it was fun and glad you liked it. Sorry, I did not take a photo before sending.

I received this gorgeous November mailart from LindaJo yesterday! It's amazing! I adore the vintage metal frame with the lovely Thanksgiving verse...and the colors are so perfect. It looks wonderful on my mantel as part of my Thanksgiving decorations. And LindaJo always writes the nicest notes...and has the best handwriting! Thank you LindaJo! xoxo
