Surprise Mail Art card from Carole . . aka "foreverbooks" . . in my mailbox today!!!
Sweet seamstress motif . . .she used a bunch of word stickers for the message inside. Decorated the envelope with "music" paper.
MUSIC is my PASSION!!! SEWING is one of my FAVORITE things to do!!

Thank you Carole from AZ for the beautifuly musical Thanksgiving card. I've had a very rough week at work so coming home to find my card was just what I needed! A perfectly cheerful note! I will post it, not proficient at doing that yet, but I will because I want to share it with everyone. The theme of "Over the River and Through the Woods" is a lot of fun~ complete with lyrics too. I'm way down here on page 105 - Wow! When I participated in the forum more actively 3 years ago, I did the mail art thing and had such a wonderful time with it. How can I get started back up again? Thanks for your help.

Just finished my mail art for November and will put it in tomorrow's mail. I must add this disclaimer: I used an idea and template from a piece of mail art I received a few months ago from a very talented farm girl. Of course, I created my own work and hope to photograph it later today. I have a wonderful inspiration board in my sewing/craft room of just MJF mail art I have received. I'm a little slow! Starting a new school year tends to hold things up for me! I still want to recognize and thank those Farmgirls that sent to me in August, September, and October! Plus show off their handiwork!
Debra Swan sent me this! She shared some of her first quilting work and a darling coaster! Thank you Debra! Good work!
Debbie Main made this! They're pressed flowers! Just beautiful! I'm going to frame this and hang it in my home!
Carole Morris made these! They came just in time to add to my autumn decor! Quite lovely!
What I love about these is that each of them can be used somewhere in my home! Thank you for adding the Farmgirl touch to my home!
