I received my October Mail Art yesterday and it's beautiful! You did a great job Debra. I have no idea how you make felt out of wool, but it's a wonderful "picture". Thanks so much! I decided since I'm in the Halloween card swap too, I am going to make a "tree" to show all of my cards! Anyway, thanks Debra, I'm off to find a branch!

I got your email and will get you on the list. It's too late for October, but you'll be on for November. I will send emails around the 25th of October giving you the NAME/ADDRESS of the person you would send to for November. You send to a different person each month and receive from a different person each month AND receive from a different person than you send to. Hope that makes sense.
Anyway, I'll send you "hard copy" of the guidelines via regular mail.
Please feel free to ask any questions you have.

Oh what a beautiful surprise was waiting in my mailbox today when I got home. Peggy out did herself on this one, unfortunately I can't take a picture just yet as I gave my mom my camera card to get some pics developed. But Peggy if you took one please post and if not I will just as soon as I get my card back in my camera.
Hint: its a beautiful Norman Rockwell of pumpkins and a grandpa with child carving them out, and another card with a cute Halloween cat.

Yes, I received it. It's beautiful. My son had a fit over the key chain. My baby's been sick. I'll try to get time soon to get a picture.

I spoke too soon. I am just not feeling my mail art that I was making. So it's back to the drawing board. I'm sorry, Carla in Col. It will get done and in the mail as soon as possible. I will be gone all day today but I'll have the rest of the week to get it done and in the mail. I guess I am having "mail art block" right now.

Karen...I am so glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to do for you! Did you notice that the Scarecrow is a Pin that you can take off and wear (when you lift the Recipe Card)? I tried to make it so you could take it off if you wanted to with out destroying the Mail Art. You displayed it all so nicely...to do the Photo's that the Art really Pops off your background. I will have to remember that trick. I still need to put Sharon's gorgeous Mail Art on here. Hopefully I will get it done tomorrow. It is so cool that the three of us have each had the opportunity to do mail art for each other. I think Sharon figured out that you two were the only ones who haven't swapped between you. I feel like I know you two better all the time! Next time I make a trip to Spokane we are going to have to meet for coffee or tea. Hugs and Blessings, Peggy
