Michelle, (theprimitivepilgram)

I was gone for the weekend for my baby shower and a friend's wedding, when I returned I had a lovely surprise. Your apron Mail Art is awesome!! So creative, with so many little details on it. You went all out! I love the fall fabric with the chickens/roosters and the pumpkins. I hope you took a picture, my camera hasn't been working well, but if not, I'll hope to get mine working soon. I also enjoyed reading your handwritten note inside. It sounds like it's a busy time of year for you! Fall is my ultimate favorite season of all. Just driving to work in the morning makes me smile because it's so beautiful. I also love the cooler weather, we had a hot humid summer and I am enjoying the brisk mornings. Today it's warmer, 74 and sunny, the leaves are falling and it smells wonderful.

Thanks again for your beautiful piece of art!

Hi CJ!

Thank you for the pink breast cancer awareness gifts in the mail. A welcome surprise and so not necessary! It was very sweet of you, I enjoyed making my sign from MN.

Oh, I just got the most gorgeous mail art from Monica in FL! Funny thing is, I hadn't even realized I had not gotten a Sept mailart....I think I was remembering my August and thinking it came in Sept. Anywho, it was all that more special because it was so unexpected! It's a real neat collage style and a lot of work went into it, so I'll get a pic up later but I just wanted to let you know it came and that I love it!!

I have already received my October mail art from Kristen Myers in GA! How pretty - and useful. She included some great soup recipes for the cold months ahead and some info on herbs. I especially enjoyed the sweet note she wrote and will try to get a photo on here later. Thanks Kristen for all your work; I enjoyed it greatly!

I have my Oct. Mail-Art in my head does that count? LOL Now, all I need is the time to translate
it to paper. It is all a very funny process...how inspiration comes! But isn't it fun just to try and
get it out of your brain, down on paper and then visually see if it even comes close to matching your
original idea? For me...it is sometimes yes, sometimes no and sometimes...where in the heck did that free
form piece come from? Surely not from me! It is almost like an out of body experience!!!

OK Mail-Artists...I don't know where all those "thoughts" just came from, but for me...it certainly rings true!

Blessings from a Mail-Crazed Artist,
~peggy

When I begin my mail art, I have something in mind. But, by the time I'm well into it, it turns into something quite different. Always enjoyable tho! I love mail art too Monica.

My situation is that I get "ALL" these ideas floating around in my head & wonder wich one to go with.
Hard to choose! But fun when I start my project.

This is the lovely piece that Monica sent me. It's hard to tell from my pic but many details are dimensional, and the whole piece is a generous 8 1/2 x 11"!

Here is a photo of my October Mail Art from Kristen Myers in GA. This was in layers with a ribbon through the hole punches at the top, but I took it apart long enough to take the photo so you could see it all! I am loving this mail art!!!!! Thanks Kristin!

Thank you, Beth (sister #1179) I received the cutest Halloween project from her, with a note enclosed. An adorable boy and girl in Halloween Costumes, stuffed and tufted with a candy corn print hanging loop. The note is on Spooky paper. I love it.
